There is a lot of information in the larger space of spirituality and religious thought that spans several thousand years from all traditions that have a perennial truth. The common thread does not emphasize difference in culture, thought, or system of belief but the commonality of personal and spiritual development to live our best lives for ourselves and others.
Likewise, many people may have had extraordinary human experiences, self-transcendent experiences, or experienced alterations in their consciousness which shifted their perception of reality. This can lead to a sense of unity consciousness or that there is something beyond our veil of perception that radically changes us. Then, the world comes back with all it's challenges and we have no pathway or compass from which to become connected to that extraordinary experience.
We developed this course to help you navigate into this space of knowing reliably and consistently.
During this 6-week series we walk you through a journey of empowerment - opening to an inner awareness of self-discovery and self-acceptance, and ultimately an understanding of how to connect and maintain that connection consciously.

Over the last 100 years, the earth and humanity have been moving into higher consciousness.
During this period through the present we have the benefit of learning from thought leaders such as Carl G. Jung, Carl Rogers, Alfred Alder, Edgar Cayce, Abraham Maslow, Rav Yehuda Berg, Rabbi Michael Laitman, Delores Cannon, Michael Newton PhD, Rhea White, groups such as L/L Research, the Center for Reiki Research, academic journals and publications from the fields of transpersonal psychology, spirituality, eastern practice of mind-body integration, and more.
Many people are experencing shifts in their conciousness, undergoing spiritual and existential shifts, experiencing waves and sensations in the body, and having self-transcendant, and exceptional experiences that conventional understanding writes off as being coincidence or unbelievable.
Some people feel rudderless and alone as they try to navigate these numinous events, often afraid to open up to those close to them for fear of feeling misunderstood.
Through our private group, Consciousness Ascending - Science, Spirituality & Transformative Practice discuss topics surrounding these concepts and help normalize the process.
Likewise, we help seekers with questions, navigate through new experiences, and promote community in a safe way while also discussing the nuances of spiritual development.
Prerequisites: None. All practitioners and lineages, as well as the uninitiated (Reiki curious), are welcome.
Reiki is a Japanese practice of improving the mind & body first for self-transcendence and then to help others. The roots of Reiki are grounded in Zazen, Buddhist, Shinto, and Shugendo origins where the intention is to gradually move into a state of nondual awareness which in turn result in a deeper sense of unity, grace, and compassion.
Through this practice, one naturally begins to experience a calmer mind, decreased stress, increased resilience, and greater ease in letting go of limiting thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. This in turn leads to greater vitality and a healthier body.
Practice Model:
This in-person group allows ample practice time for Reiki practice participants. The group begins with introductions. We follow with Usui Reiki Ryoho breathing meditation techniques for grounding and centering oneself, and letting go. We then follow with a short discussion on a Reiki concept stemming from its Japanese origins. We then move into continuing with applied Reiki practice. Finally, we conclude with time for discussion and a closing blessing of gratitude.
Each week we will discuss a different topic or deepen our discussion on areas of practice. We focus on the Japanese perspectives primarily, thereby enriching one’s understanding of concepts that may not have been introduced in more western styles of teaching.
Practice Outcomes:
A message to readers from the facilitator:
Timothy is a Reiki Teacher who has learned and practiced both Eastern and Western lineages going back to Mikao Usui Sensei from notable international teachers Frans Steine and William Rand, respectively. Timothy’s approach to Reiki practice and meditation is grounded in the Japanese Zazen tradition but approaches all lineages or schools from a position of nonduality. In this way, he welcomes all people of all Reiki training backgrounds or no training at all.
